He is also a Business Strategy Lecturer and Consultant, He has lectured in Ashesi University, and the University of Ghana Business School, he also holds many corporate training sessions each year in Business Strategy and Services Marketing and Management Skills.

He was an active participant during the Occupy Nigeria mass movement, and an energetic sexual rights advocate, especially in the wake of the anti-gay legislation trend in Africa. Ayo Sogunro’s Sorry Tales received an honourable mention at the 2013 London Book Festival Awards. Ayo has also been described as one of the 100 most influential Nigerians on social media.

He has been actively involved in both entrepreneurial and Human Capacity Development initiatives and is the Founder and Chief Executive of The Ideation Platform, an incorporated organization that provides Learning and Development, Information Technology and Business Consulting products and services serving individuals and organizations in both the private and public spheres of the economy.

Throughout high school, Alexander participated in Lincoln-Douglas debate, which allowed him to study philosophy and particularly those who advocated the philosophical principles of liberty.
