HAPPY DAY 1

“In a year where there is so much turmoil in the world, from social conflict to climate change, we need moments to stop and celebrate happiness. Protecting our planet is fundamental to the pursuit of human happiness and that is why we have chosen to support Live Earth’s movement to raise a billion voices for climate action. We believe that happiness can change the world.” -Pharrell Williams

For the International Day of Happiness 2015, Pharrell Williams and theUnited Nations Foundation invite everyone to join a global HAPPY PARTY, to spread happiness and to demand climate action.

On June 18, 2015, together with the United Nations, Live Earth will once again create a global series of events over 24 hours, on six continents, anchored from Paris and New York. Live Earth Road to Paris will be broadcast across all major media platforms and supported by a yearlong campaign in partnership with the world’s leading brands, NGOs and non-profits.

Together we will bring together a billion voices to shine a global spotlight on the nations convening in Paris this year and deliver a single message to all leaders – Take Climate Action Now.

You can join the movement from any device. You’ll be asked to take 4 pictures, which will be animated into a dancing GIF and placed into the Party, where you’ll dance to Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” with people from all over the world.

Please share your GIF to invite your friends to the Party to spread the word about this #HAPPYDAY and the importance of taking action for a #HAPPYPLANET.

Once you’ve shared, you’ll also be asked if you’d like to sign the Live Earth petition for climate action. Please do! You can also sign it right now via here. Happy Partying!
