Youth and Graduate Empowerment Programme

It is almost quarter-to-recession, the economy is adversely declining, Nigeria’s currency is at the worst position ever in centuries. Despite many promises of change, the recent administration is and may not be able to reduce poverty, improve inclusiveness and encourage sustainability. Hence, it has fallen upon the youth (me and you), to find our rhythm and seeks for a solution and to end every form of poverty and start becoming hopeful and helpful instead of remaining helpless and hopeless, hence the need to be psychologically, socially, mentally and financially empowered.

The RCCG Mercycourt area HQ, is initiating an all-year-round weekly youth and graduate empowerment programme targeting undergraduate, recent gradaute, unemployed and underemployed individuals who wishes to challenge the status quo, get empowered with basic skills needed in the labour world and, in the business environment.

The skills to be learnt are as follows:

  • Computer Appreciation (How to use the computer applications and the internet)
  • Desktop Publishing
  • Customer service: A key to sustainable business venture
  • Basic website design for small businesses
  • Forex trading
  • Starting up a mini cyber cafe (SOHO Networking)

The programme will commence from Sunday, 21st Febraury, 2016, and will hold every sunday, by 12:30 pm to 3pm.
